Dushan is a tangent jumping, pun making, endlessly curious curmudgeon who’s been illustrating & designing for over a decade. Specializing in people, concepts & portraits that are drawn via pen & ink, or with Wacom & digitally coloured, movement & gesture dominate with a quirkiness generated from a drawn-from-the-gut approach that breathes life into his illustrations.

Originally from Hamilton, he’s been lucky enough to live in Amsterdam, Toronto, Montreal & the Cayman Islands. Graduating from the Illustration program at Sheridan College & Design in 2001, he’s been living the strange & amusing life of a freelancer ever since. Currently back in Hamilton, Dushan has been teaching at OCAD University (Ontario College of Art & Design) in Toronto to see if he can make the world a better place & have a chance to swear more in public.

Lest you believe he can only draw & design, Dushan’s also an avid cyclist, reader, science nerd, political junky, ninnernet hound, urban thinker, traveller, cheese eater & has been known to enjoy a micro-brew, wine or porto when the mood strikes.
