The continuing occupation by Israel came to an ugly head in early '09 when they launched an all out assault against the Palestinian Territories. Suffice to say, it did more harm then good, as the article covered, as well as being incredibly unfair, socially damaging and dumbly murderous and essentially pointless… generally fostered as a last ditch chance to do what they pleased whist still under the Bush regime. It all culminated in an angry world, and more importantly, a slew of dead innocent people. 2009 is off to a rollicking start.
