This very difficult piece discussed the dire situation Iraqi immigrants to the United States are forced into when they leave their war-torn country of birth. Stuck between a rock & a hard place, these poor men, women & children end up in poverty despite university degrees, doctorates & years of experience. To quote, "…in Iraq. One said, ‘If I am killed by a suicide bomber, I die once. Here in America, I die every day."
