Paul Haden was a chemist who, while working a 'normal' job was also creating drugs at home to give to friends and select people as a proponent of the benefits of mind-expanding substances. Giving, caring and interesting, he died in his home from an apparent heart-attack, while the media tried to paint his death as caused by his home-based lab/drug creation. A contentious figure for many, opening up yet again the debate on our drug laws sensibility. I decided to make the piece an ode to Milton Glaser's classic masterpiece portrait of Bob Dylan.
