Rachel Corrie, Obama

the Globe & Mail / the Village Voice

AD: Cinders Mcleod, Ming Wong

Rachel Corrie was a young woman who flew to Palistine to protest the occupation by Isreal. She was run over, in cold blood, by the Israeli military in a large bulldozer. The article was a tribute to her, and her convictions written by a teacher of hers, lamenting that the world would be a better place if more young people had her commitment, understanding and passion for the events of the world. One can't help but agree.
